Attorney Kerrigan became a member of the New Hampshire Bar in September 1980 and served as a Law Clerk for the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire from August, 1980 through August, 1982. In the 29 years since then he has been exclusively in private practice, having tried many jury trials as well as cases to a non-jury finder of fact, whether before a trial judge or arbitrator(s). He has handled the litigation needs of clients throughout New Hampshire and has appeared as counsel of record in all 11 Superior Courts in the state, several trial courts in Massachusetts, the United States District Courts in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, as well as the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston. His clients have included individuals, partnerships and small businesses, regional, national and multinational corporations, including Fortune 500 companies.


He has also spent a considerable amount of professional time as a private mediator and arbitrator since the process was first adopted by the New Hampshire court system in the 1980s. Mr. Kerrigan is certified by the New Hampshire Office of Mediation and Arbitration as both a mediator and an arbitrator.
